ZIPP brake pads Road Tangente High Performance Cork Shimano & SRAM
The Zipp Tangente cork brake pads have been specially developed for the high heat generated when braking on carbon rims. In contrast to most rubber brake pads, they offer you a more even braking behavior.
In order to increase the durability and to achieve better water displacement, more material was added to the front of the pads. Even if Zipp's Tangente Platinum Evo pads achieve higher braking performance under all conditions, there are still many drivers who prefer the braking feel of cork pads. The lower wear on the brake flanks compared to most rubber surfaces speaks in favor of cork coverings.
