YEP COMPONENTS seat post PODIO XC Carbon | 80mm
Just under 337g for a hydraulic dropper out of the box - it's possible! The PODIO XC Carbon is the lightest hydraulic dropper post on the market and is aimed squarely at all cross-country racers. The lightweight does not save on robustness or functionality. The support can easily be adjusted to 80 mm travel to suit the respective trail conditions. The control is well protected and integrated into the seat post. The Bowden cable is very easy to attach with the help of the enclosed tool. The mounting of the saddle on the noble clamping head made of UD carbon fiber is also unproblematic. The 2-screw clamp enables the inclination to be adjusted precisely and securely. The PODIO uses an outer tube made of carbon fiber and can be shortened by 115 mm - this is how the hydraulic dropper achieves the feather weight of 309g!
YEP 3.0 hydraulic cartridge
The heart of the PODIO seat post works smoothly and reliably. In-house design for top function and easy handling. The speed of retraction and extension can be easily controlled via the air pressure. Thanks to the hydraulics, the seat height can be freely selected over the 80 mm adjustment range.
maintenance and service
The YEP 3.0 hydraulic cartridge is not industrially sealed and specially designed so that you can repair it in a short time with standard tools and without much prior knowledge. No mailing necessary! With the YEP patented NGC cartridge, there is no gas inside - meaning the cartridge is safe and easy to service. The venting port is located at the head of the seat post! Bleeding is done in five minutes and without removing the post from the bike! Motorex 5WT fork oil is recommended for maintenance.
A full service is recommended once a year or every 300 driving hours. After changing the seals and bleeding, the cartridge is like new.
