With this wheelset you can really let it rip on your favorite trail. The indestructible DT Swiss hubs and the sturdy NoTubes rims also forgive a driving error. The balanced selection of components guarantees you a high level of reliability and a long service life.
Hubs
Lighter, stiffer, more precise and easier to maintain - these are the strengths of the newly launched DT Swiss 240 hubs. These properties were achieved through the Ratchet EXP technology. With this, not only do the hubs get by with fewer components and the associated lower weight and less wear, it also allows the bearing to be positioned significantly further out on the drive side. The greater distance between the bearings results in a higher stiffness of the hub, a lower bearing load and thus a higher durability. The stiffness of the hub body serves to distribute the load more evenly on the spokes. Driving and braking forces are transmitted even better from both spoke flanges to all of the spokes. One-sided load peaks is prevented, which protects the hub, spokes and rim. The super reliable toothed pulley freewheel system with its large contact area and 36 locking points ensures extremely direct and reliable power transmission.
rims
The rims from tubeless pioneer NoTubes guarantee you driving pleasure in every situation. Made from a durable 6069 aluminum alloy, they are a good base for lightweight wheelsets. Thanks to the Bead Socket Technology, with its low rim flange, the tire can fully develop its shape and thus has better rolling properties and excellent damping behavior. In addition, an airtight connection is achieved, which means that tubeless operation is possible without any problems and the susceptibility to breakdowns is significantly reduced.
Wheel construction at R2-Bike
Our wheels are completely assembled by hand by our wheel builders. During the entire construction process, it is important that not only the concentricity is correct, but also that the spoke tension is as even as possible. The special care allows us to give a lifelong guarantee against broken spokes, as long as this was not caused by force!

A universal impeller bag for all common sizes.
A spare spoke + nipple in all spoke lengths required to be able to repair the wheel at short notice even after an accident.
A free initial inspection of the impeller, during which the resulting work is completely free! Only shipping costs are charged.
A crash replacement promise. If your wheel is damaged due to force majeure, we will rebuild your wheel once. We grant a 100% discount on all labor costs and only charge the material!
