Hubs
Ursus is an Italian bicycle company based in Rosà, a small town in northern Italy. With almost 50 years of experience in development and manufacturing, they have built a comprehensive portfolio of bicycle components. All components are developed in-house, manufactured and tested on modern CNC machines, ensuring consistently high quality.
The Ursus XD51 is the right choice for anyone looking for a comparatively light and stiff hub. This is achieved by using aluminum 7075 and a 15 mm axle . By choosing large bearings with a good LLU/LLB seal and additional splash protection in front of the bearings, a long service life with minimal maintenance is achieved.
The special shape of the 6-hole mount ensures optimal distribution of the braking forces and thus leads to a more sensitive braking feeling.
rims
The rims from Duke from France stand for low weight and excellent workmanship. The hookless design is ideal for using tubeless systems. The reinforced bead means that any punctures can be better handled without causing damage. The rims, which are quite flat and wide, reliably support the tire in every situation, so you don't have a spongy driving feeling even with little air pressure.
The asymmetrical shape allows for more even spoke tension, which further increases the rigidity of the entire wheel.
Wheel construction at R2-Bike
Our wheels are assembled entirely by hand by our wheel builders. During the entire construction, it is important to ensure that not only the concentricity is correct, but also that the spoke tension is as even as possible. This special care allows us to offer a lifetime guarantee against broken spokes, as long as they are not caused by violence.

You get a universal wheel bag for all common sizes.
You will receive a replacement spoke with a nipple in all the required spoke lengths so that you can repair the wheel at short notice after an accident.
You will receive a free initial inspection of the wheel, where the resulting work is completely free of charge. Only shipping costs are charged.
You get a crash replacement promise: If your wheel is damaged due to force majeure, we will rebuild it once. We offer a 100% discount on all labor costs and only charge for the material.
