With this wheelset, even racers can really let it go. The indestructible Syntace hubs and the superbly processed Duke rims forgive driving mistakes. The balanced selection of components guarantees you a high level of reliability and a long service life.
Hubs
The heart of these wheelsets are the Syntace hubs. These combine the finest turning and milling art, are simple in their optical appearance, but with superior inner values.
The hub body is equipped with stable precision deep groove ball bearings, which have a special grease filling for perfect corrosion protection and outstanding durability. The 17 mm oversize axle ensures maximum rigidity with minimum weight. An additional, double sealing washer in front of the ball bearing prevents the ingress of splash water. The infinitely adjustable MicroAdjust adjustment cap enables quick and easy adjustment of the axial hub play.
rims
The rims from Duke from France stand for low weight and excellent workmanship. The hookless construction is ideal for the use of tubeless systems. The reinforced bead makes it easier to cope with any punctures without causing damage. The fairly flat and wide rims reliably support the tire in every situation, so you don't have a spongy driving experience even with little air pressure.
The asymmetrical shape enables a more even spoke tension, which further increases the rigidity of the entire wheel.
Wheel construction at R2-Bike
Our wheels are completely assembled by hand by our wheel builders. During the entire construction process, it is important that not only the concentricity is correct, but also that the spoke tension is as even as possible. The special care allows us to give a lifelong guarantee against broken spokes, as long as this was not caused by force!
You will also receive the following services for our balance bikes:
A universal impeller bag for all common sizes.
A spare spoke + nipple in all spoke lengths required to be able to repair the wheel at short notice even after an accident.
A free initial inspection of the impeller, during which the resulting work is completely free! Only shipping costs are charged.
A crash replacement promise. If your wheel is damaged due to force majeure, we will rebuild your wheel once. We grant a 100% discount on all labor costs and only charge the material!
