Hubs
It has been known for a long time that the Italians around Extralite create small CNC works of art. With the development of the Cyberhubs, they have outdone themselves. The hub body is CNC-milled extremely complex from high-strength 7075TX aluminum. This rotates around an aluminum axis with double-sealed, smooth-running deep groove ball bearings. With the spoke flanges positioned very far outwards, the rigidity of the wheel is extremely increased without additional weight. The revised micro-tuner enables quick and easy bearing preloading without tools. Two titanium pawls work in the freewheel body in the rear hub, which simultaneously engage in a 32-fold titanium toothing.
rims
The excellently processed Duke Road Runner rims are real multi-purpose rims. They are light enough to climb any mountain, durable to enjoy your wheel for many thousands of kilometers and very stiff so that every turn of the crank is converted directly into propulsion. The rims are tubeless ready and have a large inner width so that wider tires can also be safely mounted.
Wheel construction at R2-Bike
Our wheels are completely assembled by hand by our wheel builders. During the entire construction process, it is important that not only the concentricity is correct, but also that the spoke tension is as even as possible. The special care allows us to give a lifelong guarantee against broken spokes, as long as this was not caused by force!

A free initial inspection of the impeller, during which the resulting work is completely free! Only shipping costs are charged.
