The Tune hubs are classics among the lightweight hubs for disc brakes. Originally developed for the MTB sector, they are now also among the best options for light road, cyclo-cross and gravel wheels. Not only can they be used to build light and durable wheels, thanks to their 17 millimeter axle system, they can be used extremely flexibly and can be converted to different axle type with minimal effort. The hub gets its high stability and strength from the production of aircraft aluminum. When it comes to freewheeling the rear wheel hub, Tune relies on the proven system with 3 pawls that engage in a 27-tooth titanium ring.
rims
The carbon rims from Duke from France stand for excellent workmanship and low weight. Thanks to the SLS2 production technology developed by Duke, the latter could be reduced by around 10% compared to other rims, while at the same time increasing durability and stability. The use of high-modulus carbon fibers also improves the inherent damping, which benefits increased driving comfort. The modified structure also enables the unrestricted use of modern tubeless tires.

Impeller construction at R2-Bike
Our wheels are assembled entirely by hand by our wheel builders. During the entire construction, it is important that not only the concentricity is right, but also that the spoke tension is as even as possible. This special care allows us to give a lifetime guarantee against broken spokes, as long as this is not caused by violence.
Furthermore, the following services are already included:
You get a universal wheel bag for all common sizes.
You get a replacement spoke with nipples in all required spoke lengths, so that you can repair the wheel at short notice after an accident.
You get a free initial inspection of the impeller, with the resulting work being completely free. Only shipping costs are charged.
You get a crash replacement promise: If your wheel is damaged due to force majeure, we will rebuild it once. We grant a 100% discount on all labor costs and only charge for the material.
