With the ENVE SES 2.3 rims, ENVE provides you with the perfect weapon for the mountains. They are light, stiff and stable. Different rim heights on the front and rear wheel offer the best compromise between weight, driving stability and aerodynamics. The developers spent many hours in the laboratory until the final shape of the rims was determined. You will have a lot of fun with the particularly smooth-running DT Swiss 180 Ceramic hubs and the Sapim spokes.
Hubs DT Swiss 180
Lighter, stiffer, more precise and easier to maintain - these are the strengths of the DT Swiss 180 hubs. The smooth-running SINC Ceramic ball bearings offer you another decisive advantage; they ensure minimal rolling resistance. The stiffness on the hub body serves to distribute the load more evenly on the spokes. Driving and braking forces are transmitted even better from both spoke flanges to all spokes. One-sided peak loads are prevented, which protects the hub, spokes and rim. The RATCHET EXP ratchet freehub has also been further developed. The very reliable system ensures direct power transmission without losses.
Rims ENVE SES 2.3 Disc
The ENVE SES 2.3 rims are the ultimate basis for a lightweight sprint or mountain wheelset. Thanks to optimization in the wind tunnel, the final shape of the rim was aerodynamically defined. Incredible front crosswind stability and unrivaled handling inspire confidence on rapid descents, regardless of road and weather conditions.
The ENVE engineers opted for the hookless design, which allows for perfect tubeless compatibility. Fitting and removing the tire is made much easier. In addition, a permanent seal is guaranteed. In addition, the stability at this neuralgic point increases and makes it more resistant to punctures.
Spokes SAPIM CX-Ray

Impeller construction at R2-Bike
Our wheels are assembled entirely by hand by our wheel builders. During the entire construction, it is important that not only the concentricity is right, but also that the spoke tension is as even as possible. The special care allows us to give a lifetime guarantee against broken spokes, as long as this is not caused by violence.
