DT Swiss 180 Carbon Ceramic rear
Following the motto never change a running system DT Swiss has its high-end only slightly revised hub of 180 series. Same is the minimalist weight with extremely high stiffness, which is achieved by a central part of unidirectional carbon on the hub body. The stiffness at the hub body is used, the load on the spokes evenly distribute. Driving and braking forces are transmitted better from both Speichenflanschen on all spokes. Unilateral load peaks are prevented what hub, spokes and rim saves.
DT Swiss hubs stand for easiest installation and highest reliability. The latter is achieved with the 180 hub with smooth, durable hybrid ceramic bearings and the indestructible ratchet drive mechanism. With 18 detents per revolution this not only ensures a very direct load path, but also for the typical, robust sound of DT Swiss hubs.
Available with 5x135 mm quick release, 12x142 mm thru-axle, and Shimano 9/10/11-speed SRAM or XD 11-speed freewheel and the proven Centerlock disc mount.
DUKE Lucky Jack Carbon
The Lucky Jack by DUKE is a very light and broad rim for cross country and marathon use.
Weighing 310g the weight is surprisingly low. Great value have the dimensions of the rim. With 31 mm outside and 24.8 mm inside the rim provides not only an excellent lateral stiffness, but also the tire optimum support width. Also at low air pressure, the driver (in) no spongy driving feel, as the tires can snap off bad side. Grip and comfort of the tire increase remarkably! Of course, the rim can be driven with sealing Tubeless milk.
The rims are veresehen with an asymmetrical rim profile, which requires a more uniform pitch angle of the spokes. This optimization of the spoke angle brings a number of advantages. The spoke tension on both sides can be better matched to one another, what is the shelf life of the spokes and the entire impeller conducive. The normally directional lateral stiffness is also adjusted so that the wheel appear rigid in itself. intended use: Cross Country, Marathon
recommended weight limit including clothing. 85 Kg (28/28 Hole) 95 Kg (32/32 Hole)
Sapim CX-Ray spokes are called spokes. The middle part is butted during production to 1.5 mm in diameter and forged flat in the last step. These processes ensure a strengthening of the structure and bring forth extremely durable spokes.
