WTB Tire Nano 700 x 40c TCS Light | Fast rolling tan wall
SNOWELLLLLL...! The Nano 40c is designed and built for maximum speed, and there is no other way to describe it. The 40mm width, rounded profile and raised center line make it roll like no other, yet it's possible to ride it with low pressure due to its large volume. The intended use extends from gravel to cyclocross if you want to drive a slightly wider tire. The tan wall (skin wall) carcass also sets visual accents.
TCS Tires
TCS tires take the advantages of a UST tire and combine them with the light weight of a non-UST tyre. A light carcass which is sealed with tire sealant keeps the rotating mass pleasantly low and prevents punctures and the UST compliant bead ensures a secure fit on the rim.
TCS light casing
A supple, tubeless-compatible and lightweight carcass which can be ridden tubeless with little effort using the WTB TCS Fluid tire sealant. Of course, it can also be used with tube
Dual DNA Rubber Compound
Dual DNA is the perfect blend of efficiency, traction and durability. The center line is a slightly harder rubber compound for fast rolling and high mileage, while a softer compound is used on the sides to ensure the necessary grip in corners.
A notice:
WTB has found that tires with tan wall sidewalls are not always immediately tubeless compatible when first fitted due to possible production fluctuations. If you have problems sealing the tire, we recommend using a sealant with larger particles to better seal pores in the sidewall. Suitable sealing milk is available from Notubes (Race Sealant) Orange Seal or Tire Yogurt, for example.
