The Wolftooth headsets are made of aircraft grade aluminum in the US and are laboriously sealed for durability. In the last few years, the guys from Minnesota have developed an excellent system of sealing lips so you can be out and about in all weather conditions. In the precise CNC machined aluminum bearing shells sit as fulcrum stainless Enduro Bearings deep groove ball bearings.
The lower part Extender allows you to adjust the geometry of your bike and increase the effective fork length by 10 mm. So you can raise the bottom bracket height and reduce the head tube angle. It also makes it easier to mount a rigid fork in a frame that is designed for suspension forks or to use a fork that has a shorter length from axle to crown.
