WOLFTOOTH Chainring oval 1-fold Drop-Stop LK 110 for Shimano GRX crank
For Shimano's new GRX crankset optimized chainring with the asymmetrical 110 mm GRX bolt bolt circle diameter . Available is the oval chainring with 38, 42 and 46 teeth. For mounting Wolftooth recommends the in-house 6 millimeter chainring bolts, which you can find in our shop . The Drop-Stop technology with the Wide-Narrow - design of the teeth of the Wolftooth chainrings grip them particularly well in the chain and thus prevent the jump effectively. The chainrings work best with a 10-speed , 11-speed or 12-speed chain together. To avoid Chainsucks or Chaindrops, we recommend the use of Shimano GRX derailleurs, but in any case a damped rear derailleur (Shimano Shadow +, SRAM Type 2.0 / 3.0) or chain guide or a chain catcher.
The oval shape smoothes the force peaks during the crank turn. As a result, you have a more even kick, especially on the mountain, and your muscles are less tired. The lower force peaks also reduce the load on the knees.
