WOLFTOOTH Chainring Direct Mount BOOST Drop-Stop for Race Face Cinch Crank
This good piece is chainring and spider in one and can be mounted on any Race Face crank with cinch attachment system. These are, for example, the NEXT SL carbon crank or the aluminum crank turbine. A direct mount chainring offers a clean look and a higher stiffness with low weight. Wolftooth's drop-stop technology eliminates the need for a chain guide when using a 1x9, 1x10 or 1x11 drive. This is made possible by special teeth, which are narrow and wide in turn. For a reliable guidance of the chain we recommend the use of a derailleur with increased cage tension. Shimano offers these under the name Shadow +. Sram calls it Type2 or Type2.1. For maximum strength and low wear, the chainring is CNC machined from one piece of 7075 aluminum and then anodized.
