SRAM Force Cassette XG-1270 12-speed | eTap AXS
Proven in the mountain bike field for years, the 10er sprocket now also on the road bike collection. This is made possible by the new SRAM XDR freewheel standard. The advantages are obvious: In conjunction with the proven one-piece design, the cassette can be built even easier with the same bandwidth. In addition, weight can be saved on the crank, since smaller chainrings are necessary for the same maximum deployment as with a 11er sprocket. SRAM has upgraded the new Force Cassette to 12-speed so that the jumps remain small without sacrificing bandwidth. The additional 12th sprocket significantly expands the cartridge's intended use in combination with the eTap AXS 1-speed group. Compared to the previous version, the shift lanes were further optimized and adapted to the electronic eTap AXS rear derailleur. The result is even faster and smoother shifting.

SRAM Force Chain 12-speed 114 left
The new SRAM Force chain has been redesigned from scratch. The unique flattop shape of the tabs makes the chain narrower and lighter. The resulting greater distance of the outer plates to the pinions makes for a smoother running of the chain and even more precise shifting. As a positive side effect also increases the life of the chain. This is additionally ensured by a chrome coating on the inside of the tabs and the wheels.
