The still relatively young British brand Unite has taken up the cause of producing 99% of simple quality components made of aluminum in its home base on the Welsh coast. Thanks to the use of high-quality CNC milling machines and a wide range of anodized colors, Unite products have enjoyed steadily growing popularity since the company was founded at the end of 2016 by former pro rider Andrew Cooper.
The Unite Renegade Stem impresses with its design as well as its extremely high rigidity. The milling of stem and clamping plate in one operation enables the shapely and harmonious look. In addition, the handlebar clamping area can be produced with even lower manufacturing tolerances, which leads to less clamping stress and peak loads on sensitive carbon handlebars. An extra-wide clamping area of 51 millimeters also increases the rigidity of the cockpit. In order to keep the weight low, material was saved in all areas that are not relevant for rigidity. The color scheme of the stem is special, here Unite Components offers 10 different Cerakote colors - which are unique in this way. Another visual highlight are the Ahead caps, which can be seamlessly integrated into the stem design and which Unite offers in the 10 Cerakote shades that match the stem. You also have the option of giving your Renegade stem an even more individual look with colored steel screws.
Cerakote coating
Cerakote is a ceramic-based coating that is particularly wear-resistant and corrosion-resistant and generates a very elegant matt finish on the surface. This will make your bike a real eye-catcher.
