The still relatively young British brand Unite has taken up the cause of producing 99% of simple quality components made of aluminum in its home base on the Welsh coast. Thanks to the use of high-quality CNC milling machines and a wide range of anodized colors, Unite products have enjoyed steadily growing popularity since the company was founded at the end of 2016 by former pro rider Andrew Cooper.
The Unite Chain Guide offers safe and quiet chain guidance. This is ensured by the 3D-printed slider made of an extremely wear-resistant plastic with low frictional resistance. The Chain Guard's open design allows for good self-cleaning in muddy conditions. Fastening with 2 screws not only saves weight, it also allows the chain guide to be fitted without having to dismantle the crank. With its modular design, the aluminum 6082 CNC machined backplate connects to the Unite Bash Guard. Unite Components offers the Bash Guard in 10 different Cerakote shades - which are unique in this way and allow countless color combinations. A 3 mm spacer for the back plate and three 1 mm shims for the slider are included in the scope of delivery for adjusting the chain line line. The Chain Guard is compatible with round and oval chainrings with 28 to 36 teeth.
Cerakote coating
Cerakote is a ceramic-based coating that is particularly wear-resistant and corrosion-resistant and generates a very elegant matt finish on the surface. This will make your bike a real eye-catcher.
