Steep climbs, winding descents or time trials on flat terrain, the Schwarzbrenner 45 2.0 feels at home everywhere. With its bulbous 45 millimeter high rim profile, it has good aerodynamic properties without being too susceptible to side winds. In addition, with a weight of only 1455 grams (wheelset), it is significantly lighter than most wheelsets with this profile height. In order to achieve the highest possible quality standard, the carbon rims are manufactured by a braiding robot. They have an extremely high impact strength, which is why they easily cope with potholes.
The Prince Skyline hub convinces with its low weight and the extravagant look. Their straightpull hub flanges for straight spokes ensure better transmission of braking forces to the rim . The built-in ceramic bearing reduces the frictional resistance of the hub and helps you save a few watts. When it comes to freewheeling, Tune relies on the newly developed 3-Pawl pawl system with 27 locking points per wheel revolution. The wheelset is laced with Sapim CX-Ray bladed spokes. In order to meet the highest quality standards, the Schwarzbrenner 45 is assembled and centered by hand at Tune in the Black Forest.
NOTE: Contrary to the picture, the wheel comes with a Campagnolo N3W freewheel body.
