TUNE rear hub Prince Skyline Road Ceramic Center Lock for 12x142 mm thru axle | Freewheel SRAM XDR | XD
Even if the Prince Skyline Road hubs look filigree with their milled straightpull hub flanges, they are ideally suited for racing bikes as well as cyclocross and gravel bikes. Due to the design, the straight flow of force lowers the load on the spokes and reduces the risk of spoke breaks to a minimum. In addition, the straight pull design saves a lot of weight, even compared to the light Tune Kong hubs. Thanks to the 17 millimeter axle system, the Prince can be used extremely flexibly and can be converted to various axle type with minimal effort. The hub gets its high stability and strength from the manufacture of aerospace aluminum. The ceramic bearing installed on the outside left reduces the frictional resistance of the hub and helps you to save a few watts. The newly developed 6-Pawl pawl system is used for freewheeling. Thanks to the 6 pawls, 3 of which grip the titanium tooth ring at the same time, the locking points per wheel revolution could be doubled to 54 per wheel revolution.
Like all Tune hubs, the Prince is completely produced, milled and assembled in the Black Forest. Of course, the hub is available in all 7 Tune anodized colors.
