TUNE Rear Hub Prince MTB Endurance Center Lock for 12x148 mm BOOST Thru Axle | Freewheel SRAM XDR | XD
Although the Prince hubs look filigree with their milled Straightpull hub flanges, they are ideal for MTB adventures without velvet gloves. As a result of the linear force flow, the load on the spokes is reduced and the risk of spoke breaks is reduced to a minimum. In addition, the straightpull design, even compared to the lightweight Tune Kong hubs, still saves a lot of weight. Thanks to the 17-millimeter axle system, the Prince is extremely flexible and can be retrofitted to different axle type with minimal effort. The hub receives its high stability and strength through the production of aerospace aluminum. When freewheel Tune relies on the proven system with 3 pawls that engage in a 27-toothed titanium ring.
For use in adverse weather conditions, the endurance version on the left-most exposed, most loaded ball bearing is filled with a special solid lubricant, which is also suitable for use with high-pressure cleaners. The freewheel body of the Endurance rear hub is reinforced to permanently absorb the high leverage of wide-range cassettes better.
Like all Tune hubs, the Prince is also produced, milled and assembled in the Black Forest. Of course, the hub is available in all 7 Tune Eloxalfarben.
