Even if the Prince hubs look filigree with their milled straightpull hub flanges, they are ideally suited for MTB adventures without velvet gloves. Due to the design, the straight flow of force lowers the load on the spokes and reduces the risk of spoke breaks to a minimum. In addition, the straight pull design saves a lot of weight, even compared to the light Tune Kong hubs. Thanks to the 17 millimeter axle system, the Prince can be used extremely flexibly and can be converted to various axle type with minimal effort. The hub gets its high stability and strength from the manufacture of aerospace aluminum. The ceramic bearing installed on the outside left reduces the frictional resistance of the hub and helps you to save a few watts. When it comes to freewheeling, Tune relies on the tried and tested system with 3 pawls that engage in a titanium ring with 27 teeth. In order to be able to better absorb the high leverage of wide-range cassettes in the long term, the Prince uses a reinforced endurance freewheel body.
Like all Tune hubs, the Prince is completely produced, milled and assembled in the Black Forest. Of course, the hub is available in all 7 Tune anodized colors.
