TUNE rear hub ClimbHill Endurance Center Lock for 12x148 mm BOOST thru axle | Freewheel Shimano Micro Spline
New name - proven hub technology from the Black Forest. In reminiscence of the legendary Tune lightweight brake, the Tune hub pair with classic hub flanges is now available under the names KillHill and ClimbHill. Not only can it be used to build lightweight and durable wheels, thanks to its 17 millimeter axle system, it can be used extremely flexibly and can be converted to various axle type with minimal effort. The hub gets its high stability and strength from the manufacture of aerospace aluminum. When it comes to freewheeling, Tune relies on the tried and tested system with 3 pawls that engage in a titanium ring with 27 teeth.
For use in adverse weather conditions, the endurance variant's left outer, most heavily loaded ball bearing is filled with a special solid lubricant that can also cope with the use of high-pressure cleaners. The freewheel body of the Endurance rear hub is also reinforced to better absorb the high leverage of wide-range cassettes over the long term.
Like all Tune hubs, the ClimbHill is completely produced, milled and assembled in the Black Forest. Of course, the hub is available in all 7 Tune anodized colors.
