If you want to reduce the rotating masses as much as possible in the cross-country area without losing rigidity and durability, you cannot avoid a wheelset with carbon rims. The Tune Blackburner 2.0 wheel sets have been developed precisely for this requirement profile. With an inner width of 28 millimeters, the rims offer cross-country tires up to 2.35" optimal support, even with very low air pressure.
The Princess Endurance hub impresses with its low weight and extravagant look. Their straightpull hub flanges for straight spokes ensure better transmission of braking forces to the rim. In order to be prepared for the tough MTB everyday life, the ball bearings are filled with a special solid lubricant, which can also withstand the use of high-pressure cleaners. The impeller is laced with Sapim CX-Ray bladed spokes. In order to meet the highest quality standards, the Blackburner 28 Endurance is assembled and centered by hand at Tune in the Black Forest.
