Steep climbs, winding descents or time trials on flat terrain, the Schwarzbrenner 45 3.0 feels at home everywhere. With its bulbous 45 millimeter high rim profile, it has good aerodynamic properties without being too susceptible to side winds. In addition, with a weight of only 1329 grams (wheelset), it is significantly lighter than most wheelsets with this profile height. In order to achieve the highest possible quality standard, the carbon rims are manufactured by a braiding robot. They have an extremely high impact strength, which is why they easily cope with potholes.
The rim revolves around the proven Tune Mig hub, which impresses with its low weight and timeless design. The impeller is laced with Sapim CX-Ray bladed spokes. In order to meet the highest quality standards, the Schwarzbrenner 45 is assembled and centered by hand at Tune in the Black Forest. Thanks to their outstanding temperature resistance of 245 °C, they also offer sufficient reserves for long and steep descents.
