TRICKSTUFF disc brake Direttissima | set
In mountaineering, the sonorous name Direttissima stands for the direct fall line from the mountain top to the ground. While mountaineers use the term for the shortest route with the greatest difficulty on the way to the summit, Trickstuff's Direttissima brake on the bike is ideal for the opposite route. The elaborate, CNC-milled 7075 T6 aircraft aluminum brake from the Black Forest is not only an absolute visual highlight, but also beyond any doubt in terms of braking power and stability.
While the 4-piston brake caliper has been taken over from the legendary The Cleg with slight revisions, the lever has been completely redesigned. With a larger expansion tank and the new design, braking power and stability have increased again compared to the Cleg. In order to be able to transfer the higher braking force in a dosed manner, the brake levers are equipped with 4 ball bearings and Teflon seals, which makes operation extremely easy. The brake lines have also been adapted to the higher braking power. The Direttissima is equipped with pressure-stable Kevlar cables and Goodridge connections, which are particularly light at 17 grams per meter of cable length. In addition to the lines, the hollow-milled brake pistons and milled recesses on the brake levers also reduce the weight to just 240 grams (front brake without disc). In order to visually adapt the brake levers to your bike, you will find colored anodized covers for the expansion tanks in our shop.
