Description
TRICKSTUFF Brake Disc Downhill Disc HD 223
Trickstuff brake discs have been the first choice for many years when particularly high demands are to be mastered when braking. With the help of the proven friction ring with its special hole arrangement, the feared glazing of the rubbers is successfully counteracted.
Why 223 mm? The additional 20 mm increase the lever and increase the braking force by a further 20%. In addition, the pane is even more resistant to overheating due to the enlarged surface. In addition, there is more material on the friction ring than is the case with most brake discs today. Because the heat that inevitably arises during braking has to be absorbed for the most part by the brake disc and then released into the ambient air. Thanks to the extra material, the new Trickstuff discs ensure worry-free braking on long descents as well as continuous braking and are the ideal addition to all current super light brake calipers.
Trickstuff guarantees an extremely precise thickness of the panes plus / minus one hundredth of a millimeter, the final dimension is 2.05 millimeters. A particularly high-quality Japanese stainless steel is used as the material, which is tempered at 1,100 degrees Celsius and has a hardness of min. 45 HRC. This steel is commonly used to manufacture aircraft turbine blades and is approximately 25% stronger than the conventional steel used for brake discs.
The disks warp less when exposed to heat, are mechanically extremely stable and have an extremely long service life.
