Trickstuff brake discs have been the first choice for many years, when particularly high braking demands have to be overcome. With the help of the proven friction ring with its special hole arrangement, the dreaded vitrification of the coverings is successfully counteracted. The newly redesigned brake discs deliberately have more material on the friction ring than is the case with most brake discs today. Because the heat that inevitably arises during braking must be absorbed by the brake disc for the most part and be released from there back to the ambient air. With more material, the new Trickstuff discs provide worry-free braking on long downhill runs as well as on sustained braking and are the perfect complement to all current super light calipers.
Trickstuff guarantees an extremely precise thickness of the slices plus / minus a hundredth of a millimeter, the final gauge is at least 1.85 millimeters. The material used is a particularly high-quality stainless steel, which is tempered at 1,100 degrees Celsius and has a hardness of min. 45 HRC. This steel is commonly used to manufacture the blades of aircraft turbines and is approximately 25% stronger than the conventional steel used for brake discs. The discs warp less under heat, are mechanically extremely stable and have an exceptionally long life.
Material: stainless steel mount : Rohloff / 4-hole Outer diameter: 160 mm Friction ring width: 15.5 mm Finish: polished
Weight: Ø 160mm x 15.5mm, 112g
Scope of supply: 1x Trickstuff brake disc 4-hole for Rohloff without fixing screws
Note: Due to the extreme hardness and abrasion resistance, the braking process takes a relatively long time. Give your Trickstuff brake disc at least 1,500 vertical meters, until the lining and disc are balanced and able to develop the full braking force.
