Loose ground suits it and with the increased tire width you get the buoyancy you need to avoid sinking. Increased stability and rampless open profile paddles you through the loose ground and offers excellent maneuverability through turns with raised side knobs. The volume of the tire offers a high level of comfort, especially on loaded bicycles.
