The 5th generation of the Syntace MTB rear hub primarily addresses Gravel and XC bikes due to its low weight. But trail and enduro tours are also easily possible with the new development, since the weight reduction was not made at the expense of durability. Extra large precision deep groove ball bearings with an increased special grease filling and the specially developed Dura-Seal sealing caps ensure perfect protection against corrosion and outstanding durability. The 17 mm oversize axle ensures maximum rigidity. The super-wide ball bearing support of the SRAM XD freewheel body ensures increased shifting precision. The infinitely variable MicroAdjust adjustment cap allows the axial hub play to be adjusted quickly and easily.
The 5th generation Syntace toothed disc freewheel has teeth with 24 locking points. Due to the lower number of locking points, the teeth can be made larger, which means that the durability of the toothed discs is significantly higher.
