The STOLL BIKES R1, an ultimate race hardtail that sets new standards.
Two young companies combine all their knowledge in one product. Stoll Bikes from Switzerland implements the racing experience gained from the World Cup with the R1, the unique production of the frames is carried out at Bike Ahead in Germany. The proximity to production as well as the high know-how guarantee constant quality and a weight of 840 grams (size M)!
In contrast to the frames of the competition, the STOLL R1 is laminated in one piece -ONE SHOT-. The formal language of harmoniously designed surfaces and functional radii was created in close cooperation between the designer and the manufacturer. The carbon layup is individually tailored to the body weight and riding style of the rider and ensures that every biker gets the maximum possible performance.
Technical details such as the tapering of the chain stays and the pre-bending of the seat stays guarantee comfort and maximum traction on the rear wheel. The low center of gravity, the short chainstays and the slack steering angle help the R1 to achieve incomparable agility. Another useful feature is the clean and rattle-free cables and brake lines that are routed through inserts in the frame and are protected from dirt and rain.
The high production quality reduces rework to a minimum, so that the frame does not require additional painting, which gives the carbon fibers a silky sheen. Colored foiled design elements round off the harmonious overall picture.
STOLL BIKES offers two different carbon layups for your optimal race performance:
- Layup 840: recommended up to a weight of 85 kg, has additional reinforcements in the rear triangle
