STAGES CYCLING Power Meter L Cannondale Si HG
The Stages Power Meter L Si HG is the power meter for all Cannondale BB30 riders who use a Cannondale Si HG or SiSL2 crank set. The power meter is pre-assembled on a left HG Si crank arm and, once the correct crank length has been selected, can be exchanged extremely quickly and easily for the left crank arm of the existing crankset. A big advantage compared to other systems: there is no intervention in the tuning of the wheel and the gearshift.
All current features from the newly developed LR (Left-Right) power meter with power measurement on both sides have been integrated into the 2018 L (Left) power meter. Not only the software, but also the hardware has been revised. In this way, the measurement accuracy could be increased to +-1.5%. The antenna has also become stronger and sends the data with 6 times higher intensity, which reduces the risk of dropouts. In addition, the L power meters are also compatible with even more bike computers. The integrated cadence sensor has also been upgraded to measure values even more precisely. Optionally, the cadence can now also be measured using a magnet. As a positive side effect, the new hardware ensures a weight reduction of 5 grams compared to the previous version.
Active temperature compensation ensures the precise performance measurement of the Stages power meter, even with large temperature fluctuations. The Stages power meter is compatible with all ANT+-capable bike computers and the latest smartphone models via the ANT+ and Bluetooth Smart transmission standards. Firmware upgrades can be carried out quickly and easily thanks to wireless transmission to the power meter. The slight additional weight of only 15 grams not only inspires fans of lightweight construction, it also hardly affects the performance of the bike.
