Description
SRAM XX1 Eagle Upgrade Kit 1x12 | 52 teeth
With the XX1 Eagle Upgrade Kit you can equip your bike with the new Eagle cassettes with 52 teeth. The increased bandwidth compared to the Eagle cassettes with 10-50 teeth not only offers more reserves for extremely steep climbs. With the bandwidth increased to 520%, high-performance riders can ride a larger chainring without impairing the climbing abilities of the bike. As a result, the drive enables a higher top speed and the driver also uses the larger sprockets of the cassette, which are more efficient. With the 4 different color variants of cassette and chain, you can set a visual accent on your bike.
Rear derailleur
The XX1 Eagle rear derailleur has not only been adapted to the 12-speed ratio of the XX1 Eagle group, it also comes up with some new features. The number of teeth on the lower rear derailleur roller has been increased to 14 teeth, which makes the chain run even more quietly and with less resistance. The quieter chain run is supported by the optimized Type 3.0 cage damping, which effectively prevents the chain from striking in rough terrain. A newly designed suspension on the frame makes the rear derailleur even more robust and durable. Identical to the XX1 rear derailleur, the extremely high tension of the rear derailleur cage and the X-Sync pulley matched to the chain, which effectively prevent the chain from jumping off even without a chain guide. Thanks to a new geometry, the XX1 Eagle rear derailleur with SRAM Eagle cassettes is suitable for up to 52 teeth.
Trigger
The proven, extremely light XX1 trigger shift lever has been updated for the 12-speed XX1 Eagle groupset. Its Exact Actuation technology ensures smooth and smooth gear changes across the entire gear range. The thumb lever is made of carbon and adjustable in a range from + 30 ° to -30 °. For a tidy cockpit and best ergonomics, the XX1 Eagle Shifter can be mounted with the SRAM Matchmaker or Matchmaker X.
cassette
With the proven SRAM X-Dome technology, the Eagle 12-speed cassette is one of the most durable and stiff cassettes on the market. SRAM achieves this by milling the cassette from a block. This manufacturing technique also allows the weight to be kept extremely low even with durable steel pinions. Only the 52 sprocket is made of aluminum.
Chain
The SRAM Eagle 12-speed chain has a very large part in the smoothness and smooth running of the XX1 Eagle 12-speed group. This is achieved through particularly rounded outer plates and the consequent elimination of sharp edges. The HollowPin construction enables smooth, precise shifting and weight savings without compromising on strength. The pins are reinforced by a chrome coating. Different coatings offer a high level of corrosion protection and reduce the friction of the chain. The revised PowerLock chain lock has a longer shelf life and is even easier to use.
