With the XX1 Eagle DUB AXS complete groupset, you can equip your bike with the new Eagle cassettes with 52 teeth. The increased range compared to the Eagle cassettes with 10-50 teeth not only offers more reserves for extremely steep climbs. Powerful riders can ride a larger chainring thanks to the increased gear range of 520% without compromising the bike's climbing capabilities. As a result, the drivetrain enables a higher top speed and the rider also uses the larger sprockets of the cassette more often, which are more efficient. With the 4 different color variants of cassette and chain, you can set a visual accent on your bike.
Crank
Thanks to the use of the Carbon Tuned manufacturing process, the wall thickness of the XX1 Eagle DUB crank has been selected in such a way that it has a very high level of stiffness and is still an absolute lightweight. The crank is complemented by the new X-Sync 2 SL Direct Mount chainrings. With the proven alternating thick-thin tooth profile, which is matched to the XX1 Eagle chain, the X-Sync 2 chainrings always keep the chain securely in place.The crank is supplied with a 34-tooth chainring, but you can find retrofit chainrings with 30 to 38 teeth in our store. The crank is available with a crank length of 170 millimetres or 175 millimetres
Rear derailleur
The Eagle AXS rear derailleur is the brain of the groupset and has been specially developed for optimum shifting performance with an electric motor. Shifting under load and on rough surfaces is now even more precise. This gives you even more confidence in the bike under extreme loads and you can concentrate exclusively on the trail. The new overload clutch provides better protection for the rear derailleur in the event of a fall. It briefly decouples the rear derailleur under extreme loads so that it can avoid the load and the electric motor is protected from damage. However, the rear derailleur immediately jumps back into the engaged gear. As an extremely positive side effect, the rear derailleur suspension and the derailleur hanger are also better protected in the event of a fall. In addition, a 10 millimeter shorter derailleur arm protects the rear derailleur from contact with the ground. For more chain wrap and therefore better shifting performance, the parallelogram has been moved slightly further forward.
Controller
The AXS Controller is the shifting center for the Eagle XX1 and X01 AXS groupsets. With its redesigned rocker switch, the AXS Controller offers you a completely new shifting experience. The buttons on the rocker switch can be individually configured via the AXS app.In addition to the two shift points at the usual position, the controller offers a sprint shifter on the front of the handlebars, which can be operated without having to remove a single finger from the grip.
Cassette
With the proven SRAM X-Dome technology, the Eagle 12-speed cassette is one of the most durable and stiffest cassettes on the market. SRAM achieves this by milling the cassette from a single block. This manufacturing technique also makes it possible to keep the weight extremely low, even with durable steel sprockets. Only the 52 mm final sprocket is made of aluminum.
Chain
The SRAM Eagle 12-speed chain plays a major role in the smooth running and quiet operation of the X01 Eagle AXS 12-speed groupset. This is achieved by the particularly strongly rounded outer plates and the consistent absence of sharp edges.The HollowPin design enables smooth, precise shifting and weight savings without compromising on strength. The pins are reinforced with a chrome coating, with various coatings offering a high level of corrosion protection and reducing chain friction. The revised PowerLock chain lock has a longer service life and is even easier to use.
