SRAM XX1 Eagle Crank | Quarq DZero Power Meter GXP
SRAM XX1 Eagle crank handle Quarq DZero Power Meter GXP
For 10 years now, Quarq has been developing performance measurement systems for athletes who want to leave nothing to chance in training. In the DZero Powermeter platform, the Americans let their entire experience flow in and integrated the latest technical standards.
The DZero Powermeters continue to rely on a spider-based power measurement. Since this system measures the power where it is delivered and the performance of both legs is measured, this system ensures a very high measurement accuracy. Externally modified only in detail, the DZero Powermeter have a completely revised inner life. Not only the measurement technology is new, the arrangement of the strain gauges has also been optimized. The result is an even more accurate power measurement in each phase of a crank rotation and an improved measurement accuracy with temperature fluctuations. Thus, the values ??need to be corrected less by the internal software. Another important new feature is the data transmission via Bluetooth Low Energy Standard, in addition to the transmission in the ANT + standard. Thus, the DZero Powermeter can be paired with almost all available on the market wheel computers and smartphone apps. To upload firmware updates and perform system diagnostics, Quarq has developed the Qalvin app for IOS and Android.
The Sram Eagle 1-Disc Powermeter with 104 millimeters of bolt circle diameter is best suited for SRAM 1x11 and 1x12 X-Sync chainrings. These keep the chain reliably on the chainring without chain guide. To ensure an optimal chain line in combination with 12x148 millimeters of BOOST rear wheel hubs, the Spider is also available in a BOOST version. The lightweight and robust XX1 Carbon Tuned crank arms are available in 170 millimeters and 175 millimeters in length.
- 10K Active Temperature Compensation - wireless data transfer via Bluetooth Low Energy or ANT + - Chain shifts require no recalibration has no influence on the measuring accuracy - Cadence measurement via acceleration sensors (no additional magnet required!) - waterproof construction according to IPX7 standard - LED-Power indicator always informs about battery status - 200 hours operating time (toolless battery change according to CR2032 standard) - Power Balance - +/- 1.5% measuring accuracy
