The first crank of the mountain which was developed directly for use in a 2x10-speed system. The carbon crank arms offer an enormous rigidity and bring optimally the force on the chain. SRAM X-Glide technology at the chainrings ensures precise and particularly fast gear changes, even under load. The resulting chain line 49.5 mm improves the efficiency extent that all 10 of the cartridge pinion can be driven optimally with two leaves. By saving the third chainring, the crank can be mounted closer to the frame and the Q factor to 156 mm can be reduced. The Q-factor is thereby the distance between the pedal eye with each other on and so determines the distance of the feet while kicking. A reduced Q-factor allows for a more efficient pedal. We recommend buying a crank with 164 mm Q-factor. Modern frames often have very wide rear triangles that would collide with a narrow crank. For frame with rear triangles that are wider than 105 mm in the area of the crank 156 mm crank is inappropriate!
