SRAM Rival 22 shift | Brake lever double tap
Once the revolution in the racing bike sector, now a popular standard on racing bike handlebars: the SRAM shift brake levers with their DoubleTap technology. With them, the switching process is only carried out in one direction and with only one lever. Long lever travel ensures upshifting and downshifting with a small lever movement. The zero-loss technology ensures that there is no longer any free travel when switching. As soon as the lever is moved, the switching process is triggered. The lever comes in an ergonomic ErgoFit design, which is also used in the top group SRAM Red. In addition, with the reach adjustment, the lever can be perfectly adjusted for each hand.

The dual pivot design increases braking power. With their wide distance between the brake arms, the Rival brakes are also ideally suited for wide carbon rims and tires up to 28 millimeters wide. Forged aluminum arms push the weight down. The SwissStop brake pads ensure high braking performance.
SRAM Rival 22 rear derailleur
The Rival 22 rear derailleur is based on the same technologies as the components of the SRAM top group RED. This means that the gear changes are extremely precise and fast, and thanks to AeroGlide pulleys, the chain run is significantly quieter than with less sophisticated components. Minimal compromises only have to be accepted in terms of material and weight. However, SRAM only uses high quality materials such as aluminum and stainless steel.
While the standard rear derailleur was designed for cassettes with a largest sprocket with 28 teeth, the WiFli version is suitable for cassettes with up to 32 teeth.

SRAM Rival 22 cassette 11-speed PG-1130
The PG-1130 cassette is built in a classic design from individual sprockets, the largest sprockets being applied in groups of three to an aluminum spider. The individual sprockets are punched out precisely and a profile is stamped that is optimized for clean gear changes. The shape of the individual teeth of the cassette are optimally matched to each other to enable smooth switching operations.
