With the XPLR Upgrade Kit you can convert your existing eTap AXS groupset for use on a gravel bike.
Rear derailleur
The new 1-way specific RED XPLR rear derailleur has been specially developed for the needs of modern gravel riders. In combination with the matching XPLR cassette with 10-44 teeth, it gives you enough bandwidth to climb every climb. Tight gear jumps on the smaller sprockets help you to keep your comfortable cadence in the high speed range. In-house technologies that have been tried and tested over many years ensure the necessary reliability in use under rough off-road conditions. The electronic radio eTap switching logic ensures intuitive switching processes and simple setup. You can personalize the switching behavior via the AXS APP. Enlarged pulleys with ceramic bearings and the proven X-Sync Narrow-Wide tooth profile keep the chain securely in place, even with the toughest vibrations. In addition, the speed-dependent Orbit-Fluid liquid damper is used, which effectively prevents the chain from vibrating on the lower pulley without creating unnecessary chain tension. The necessary power is supplied by the proven SRAM eTap battery (not included), with which you can operate the rear derailleur over 1000 kilometers or around 60 hours of driving. An ANT + transmitter integrated in the rear derailleur enables communication between your bike computer and the rear derailleur. Among other things, you can have the charge status of the battery and the current gear displayed in your cockpit.
NOTE: The rear derailleur is only compatible with SRAM eTap AXS shift levers!

More bandwidth for unlimited gravel adventures. The new XPLR XG-1271 cassette with 10-44 teeth offers you enough gear ratio range for the steepest climbs as well as for fast flat passages. Your X-Range transmission has a smooth course and finely graduated smaller sprockets so that you can always keep your comfortable cadence. Your pinions made of tool steel are connected to each other with the SRAM mini-cluster construction via pins. The cassette's largest pinion, made of aluminum, ensures a significant weight reduction. The sprockets are coated with nickel-chrome to ensure a long service life and a smooth chain run. The cassette is compatible with all SRAM XPLR rear derailleurs and SRAM Flattop 12-speed chains. It can be mounted on all hubs with an XDR freewheel body.
