SRAM Force groupset 22 2x11 for BB30
The Force 22 group is the "small" top group in SRAM range. Apart from a few details, this group has all the features of the top group RED. SRAM substantiated this by Force and RED Group are brought with the new 2 x 11-way system at the same time on the market! With the 11-speed stepped cartridge are now 22 courses available, all of which can be driven without restrictions, thanks to the "Yaw" -Umwerfers! The new, finer gradation of the cartridge allows to maintain optimal cadence precise and longer.
Note: The total weight of the group differs depending on the configuration.
SRAM Force 22 Double Tap brake lever
New Bars & Accessories were developed primarily ergonomically. The handle body was designed slightly narrower and received simultaneously a flat hump on top. The brake handle is now made longer to better reach to be and to enable a higher braking translation. The grip width of brake and shift levers can now be set separately!
SRAM Force 22 derailleur
The derailleur was only carefully optimized to keep the very good, crisp switching behavior possible. New are mainly the Aeroglide Pulleys, intended to promote a smoother running of the chain.
short cage for cassettes with up to 28 teeth
WiFLi medium cage for cassettes to 32 teeth
SRAM Force front derailleur 22
The "Yaw" -Umwerfer only introduced to all the Red 2012 Group. Thanks to a refined mechanism of not only the chain cage is moved in parallel but also about the vertical axle during switching operations - turned - or the seat tube of the frame. This rotation compensates for the skew of the chain depending switched chainring combination. This eliminates the readjustment of the derailleur as in other systems!
SRAM Force 22 Crank
The crank was significantly revised. The system of carbon crank arms, a forged aluminum spider with highly optimized chainrings and BB30 shaft made of aluminum or steel shaft GXP offer superior power transmission. The shift aids the chainrings are matched to the Yaw front derailleur to ensure fast and smooth gearshifts on the chainrings.
SRAM Bottom Brackets
High quality bearings are available in SRAM even in the standard version. With the option of hybrid ceramic bearings the durability and low rolling resistance can be improved.
SRAM PG-1170 cassette
11 finely graded gear in which switching aids are incorporated with high precision. This tray has gears can change unexpectedly quickly and cleanly. The fine grading allows to keep the cadence constant for longer and thus save power or to maintain the optimum training zone.
The 11-speed Road cassette from SRAM are only compatible with Shimano 11-speed freewheels! Appropriate wheels and conversion kits for older wheels and hubs are available from many producing!
SRAM PC-1170 chain
The new 11-speed compatible chain was also revised in details.
* A new material for inner plates to reduce wear.
* A modified process for riveting increases the strength of this connection,
so at least 2500N necessary are to remove the rivets
* The outer plates are nickel plated to increase corrosion protection
SRAM Force brakes
The brakes follow the already known shape of SRAM. With bearing pin made of stainless steel and the dual pivot system, these brakes are strong and reliable. The metering of the brake is excellent and, thanks to a collaboration with Swiss Stop in the production of brake pads in any weather!
