SRAM Force 22 crank Carbon | for GXP
The Force 22 crank is modular. The carbon crank arms are single, highly optimized components that are connected to the no less optimized Spider and a 24 mm steel shaft. The integrated design allows the individual parts to separately optimize each other and to make the manufacturing more efficient. The higher efficiency in production as compared to a fully integrated design allows SRAM Force cranks 22 with its low weight offer much cheaper than the RED cranks!
In operation, the crank 22 Force there is no difference to the top group RED! The rigid chainrings are identical in Force and RED Group and turn outstanding!
The GXP shaft is made of steel and has an outer diameter of 24 mm, which is reduced at the seat of the left bearing 22 mm. The special design of the shaft allows the installation of the crank having to hire separately without the bearing preload!
The wave has a sufficiently high stiffness and is designed with appropriate GXP bottom brackets especially for frames with BSA thread or Shimano Pressfit inner bearing receptacle.
