SRAM Disc Brake Level Ultimate stealth | 4 piston clear anodized single front wheel
The Level Ultimate Stealth scores with a revised encoder and new 4-piston brake calipers. The encoder is adapted to the special conditions of modern XC bikes with their integrated cockpits. A line outlet directed towards the handlebar lets the brake line run directly in the direction of the stem/headset in order to be able to disappear into the frame as quickly and cleanly as possible. Thanks to the 4-piston brake caliper, you have trail-compatible braking power at a weight that is otherwise known from XC brakes. The tool-free reach adjustment enables a quick adjustment to your hand, so that you have everything under control in every situation.
The slim, light design of the encoder was specially developed for cross-country, marathon and trail use and fits perfectly into any cockpit. Thanks to the unique DirectLink technology, you have an incredibly direct feeling when braking with the Level Ultimate, which creates trust and safety from the first meter. The newly designed brake caliper, in conjunction with the DOT 5.1 brake fluid, offers excellent heat management and helps you to keep a cool head even on the longest descent.
In the Ultimate variant, the Level brake was uncompromisingly trimmed by the SRAM engineers for low weight with maximum braking power. A carbon brake lever is used which rotates around a special bearing so that you always have a perfect feeling when braking. The hardware is made of titanium and saves even the last gram on your bike. In order to cope with the toughest use on your down country bike, there is the SRAM Level brake with a stable 4-piston brake caliper.
So that everything can be mounted as cleanly as possible, the transmitter on the handlebar is compatible with Sram's proven Matchmaker system. This makes it possible to accommodate your brake, shifter or remote control of your Reverb seat post on just one clamp. Thanks to the Bleeding Edge technology, you can also service and bleed the brake in a short time.
