The G2 Ultimate is the ultimate pickup truck among mountain bike brakes. It is reliable, it goes everywhere, it always does what it is supposed to, it has a lot of power and is perfectly adaptable to every driver. The area of intended use of the SRAM G2 Ultimate ranges from Cross Country to Freeride. The design of the G2 is based directly on the code, which means it has perfect dosing, modulation and convinces with more than sufficient braking power in all imaginable situations. The lever width and the free travel of the brake lever made of carbon can be individually adjusted to your braking preferences on the G2 Ultimate, so that you have everything under control even on the most difficult descents.
In the Ultimate variant, the G2 brake was uncompromisingly trimmed by the SRAM engineers for low weight with maximum braking power. A carbon brake lever is used which rotates around a special bearing so that you always have a perfect feeling when braking. The newly designed brake caliper has been optimized for maximum rigidity in order to convert every little twitch of your fingers into perfectly dosed deceleration. The striking design fits perfectly with current bikes.
The color scheme of the hardware is based on the rainbow of the chains and cassettes so that it also fits perfectly with the SRAM Eagle AXS groupsets.
In order to be able to mount everything as cleanly as possible, the transmitter on the handlebars is compatible with Sram's proven Matchmaker system. This makes it possible to accommodate your brakes, the shift lever or the remote control of your lowerable seat post on just one clamp. Thanks to the Bleeding Edge technology, you can also service and bleed the brake in a short time.

If you pull on your SRAM brake lever with SwingLink technology, you will immediately notice the difference. The optimized actuation ensures a short idle travel and quick application of the brake pads to the disc. As soon as the pads touch your brake disc, the braking force is perfectly modulated by a special cam. This creates the optimal balance of power and control.
