Description
SRAM Apex 1 road bike group 1x11 BB30 | Shift / brake lever including hydraulic disc brake | Post Mount
With the SRAM Apex 1 you can experience a new simplicity on your racing bike, gravel bike or trekking bike. And at an unbeatably low price. With just one gear lever, you no longer have to worry about the right gear combination. You can simply concentrate on driving and switch through the 11 gears intuitively. In combination with the APEX 1 11-42 cassette, the 1-speed drive is in no way inferior to a 2-speed drive with 11-28 cassette in terms of transmission bandwidth. So even the steepest angle with the Apex 1 group are no problem.
SRAM Apex 1 crank BB30 | 42 teeth
The slim Apex 1 aluminum crank makes a high-quality impression and fits perfectly into the Apex 1 group. The integrated 4-arm spider brings a higher stiffness-weight ratio than conventional 5-arm spiders. In order to also be suitable for wider cross and gravel bike frames, the crank arms offer 2 mm more space on the rear for each rear. The Sram X-Sync chainring with its alternating narrow and wide teeth ensures a perfect hold of the chain, which makes the use of a chain guide unnecessary. The crank is available with arm lengths from 165 to 175 millimeters.
SRAM Apex 1 switching | Brake lever incl. Hydraulic disc brake | Post Mount
With the Apex 1 shift / brake levers you can use the superior properties of disc brakes on your road bike or gravel bike. The braking performance and controllability in all weather conditions far exceeds rim brakes! In addition, the brake as a heat source is separated from the often sensitive tires. This can bring the decisive advantage, especially in borderline situations! The brake system works with DOT 5.1 brake fluid. This medium is strictly standardized and thus offers an extremely reliable function even at high temperatures caused by braking. A redesigned ventilation opening ensures easy access. To fit perfectly in the hand, the shift / brake levers offer a reach adjustment and optimized ergonomics for a better finger reach. The 11-speed shift lever is equipped with SRAM's double tap shifting system. With this switching logic you can shift with minimal effort and maximum comfort with just one lever. The 1: 1 ratio between the shifter and rear derailleur ensures that the gearshift can be adjusted very easily.
SRAM Apex 1 rear derailleur
Equipped with all the features of the SRAM Force 1 rear derailleur, the APEX 1 rear derailleur offers top performance at a low price for 1x10 and 1x11 drives. The unique Roller Bearing Clutch ensures a constant high chain tension and a secure chain line even without chain guide. The parallelogram design of the rear derailleur limits all switching movements to the horizontal axle . This reduces the force required for switching and the switching process is much more precise. The strong offset of the upper pulley ensures constant chain spacing across all gears. The Cage Lock technology allows the rear derailleur to be locked in an extended position to simplify the assembly of the rear wheel or chain.
SRAM Apex 1 cassette PG-1130 11-speed 11-42 teeth
The PG-1130 is an extremely robust cassette with a large 11 - 42t ratio. With its black finish, it also looks good. It is suitable for all standard 11-speed freewheels (not SRAM XD).
SRAM Apex 1 chain PC-1110 | 114 links
Chain recommended for the Apex 1 group, from a family of reliable, light chains with high resistance. The PC-1110 features SRAM's proven XX1 geometry, solid pins and a POWER LOCK chain lock, and offers smooth, efficient gear changes. Thanks to X-Sync, it adapts perfectly to the chainrings provided.
Bottom bracket
Optimally sealed bottom bracket for all common standards. Optionally with ceramic bearings for easier running.
SRAM Centerline brake discs | 6 holes
The optimized design with large friction surface ensures high braking power and reduces brake fading. By reducing the vibrations of the disc when braking, noise was also reduced.
Total weight: approx.2644g (without bottom bracket and without brake discs)
Note: The total weight differs depending on the configuration.
