The one-piece, hollow aluminum fork crown and the tapered shaft reduce the weight and, in conjunction with the 34 mm stanchions, give the Axon the necessary rigidity to enable precise steering maneuvers even in technically demanding terrain.
The new Air-EQ system perfectly balances the positive and negative air chambers. This allows you to adjust the performance of the suspension fork perfectly to your weight in order to cushion the slightest bumps or hard hits. When developing the Air EQ system, the engineers always worked together with the athletes to achieve the best possible result.

The lightweight hollow forging technology provides additional rigidity and keeps the weight low. This is 35 grams lighter than the massive crown.

EQ - equalization system
With Suntour's EQ system, tuning your fork has never been easier. Just set the right sag and the EQ system will automatically fill the negative spring with the right pressure. This gives you optimal coordination and more time on the trail.
PCS - Piston Compensator System
SR Suntour's PCS system is the result of 17 years of constant development work on the damping cartridges. With this cushioning you have perfect control in every situation.
Q-LOC2 thru axle
Patented quick release system for thru axles, which really deserves the name "fast". A simple push and a small turn of the rotary knob enables the axle to be removed quickly. A clicking sound indicates secure engagement.
