SHIMANO XTR Crank 2-speed FC-M9120-B2 | 38-28 teeth
With the M9100 XTR crank, Shimano takes a big step forward in several aspects. Probably the most outstanding innovation: The M9100 is designed for direct mount chainrings. Thanks to the special DCE + Narrow Wide profile of the teeth and the Hyperglide + chain design, the 52 mm offset of the chainrings is suitable for both BOOST and standard rear hubs. Available are the matching Direct Mount chainrings with 30 to 38 teeth.
For those looking for a wider range without sacrificing the benefits of the tightly-graded 10-45 cassette, Shimano offers the M9100 crank with a 2-chain chain spider combination.
When building the crank, Shimano continues to rely on the proven Hollowtech-2 technology with 24 millimeter crankshaft. Optimizing the design of the current generation of cold forged aluminum cranks, however, enabled further weight savings while increasing rigidity. To meet the different intended use to be s and preferences of bikers meet there is the XTR crank with 162 millimeters (FC-M9100) and 168 millimeters (FC-M9120) wide Q-factor.
NOTE: The chainrings of XTR crank 9120 are not compatible with other 11-speed and 12-speed compatible groups! Likewise, the crank with 2 chainrings can not be used with the 10-51 cassette.
