Description
SHIMANO XTR crank 1-speed FC-M9130-1 | without chainring
Shimano's XTR FC-M9130-1 crank for trail and enduro use was specially designed for SuperBoost + frames with an installation width of 157 mm. The chain line of 56.5 mm ensures a perfect chain run and thus optimal shifting performance. Compared to the FC-M9120-1 it has a slightly larger Q-factor, which at 171 mm is 3 mm narrower than the FC-M9125-1 crank. When assembling the crank, Shimano continues to rely on the proven Hollowtech-2 technology with a 24 millimeter crankshaft. By optimizing the design of the current generation, the cold-forged aluminum crank, further weight could be saved and the rigidity increased at the same time.
Hollowtech 2
Light cranks reduce the overall weight of the bike and, above all, the rotating mass that is crucial for acceleration. The challenge is to reduce the weight of the crank without compromising stability and resilience.
Shimano's ultra-modern forging technology offers an ideal solution with the HOLLOWTECH crank. Just like a high-quality frame tube, the hollow arm crank is extremely stable and resilient with a very low weight.
