Shimano XT pedals PD-T8000 SPD Trekking
Compared to the MTB pedals the tread of the pedal has been increased again significantly.
Thus, the pressure is distributed better on the shoe and kicking is comfortable.
Through sophisticated sealing and bearing in conjunction with the ChroMo steel axle a very long service life of the pedals is achieved.
The Trekking version has a cage around the click pedal to increase the contact surface again. This is especially useful in conjunction with touring shoes, which have a softer midsole. The pedal is performed on one side with click system and on the other as a platform, the problems wheel can be driven with normal shoes. New are the interchangeable pins, confers extra grip.
Rather Ideal for mountain bikers who prefer in tricky situations the Bewegungsfreit a platform pedal, on long climbs the advantages of a Click-pedal but do not want to miss.
The XT-pedals are provided for use with a compatible shoe SPD.
