The XT hub was developed for the highest demands in the MTB sector.
It is the long-running favorite in the Shimano hub program and combines longevity, low weight and very good running properties at a reasonable price.
The hub is mounted on a maintenance-friendly and robust cone bearing with balls made of steel, which absorbs lateral forces better than the usual industrial bearing of other manufacturers.
In conjunction with the labyrinth rubber seals, an above-average service life of the hubs is achieved.
