This is ensured by the technologies adopted in part by the Dura Ace 9100.
The Ultegra Di2 lever allows for even more intuitive shifting. With a clear separation between the buttons, they ensure precise shifting even with thick winter gloves. The switching logic can be customized. This allows Multi Switch to be turned on or off for each switch, and the buttons on the top cover can be programmed for third-party control. With the E-Tube app or the Shimano PC software, all functions are customizable. Combined with the hydraulic Ultegra disc brake, the Ultegra Di2 lever provides high braking performance and control in all conditions. With its reduced croissant circumference, the shift lever is even better in the hand. To achieve optimum ergonomics for every size of hand, the brake lever offers an increased adjustment range.
The Shimano Ultegra BR-R8070 calipers guarantee maximum control in all conditions. The L02A brake pads with ICE-TECH cooling fins help to keep the brake temperatures low, even on long passes. In combination with the ICE-TECH FREEZA Shimano SM-RT800 brake discs, the brake temperature can be reduced by up to 100 degrees Celsius compared to conventional systems. Visually, the slender flat-mount calipers fit seamlessly into the wheel profile.
