The XTR hub was developed for the highest demands in the MTB area.
It is the spearhead of the Shimano MTB program and combines high rigidity with very good running properties with low weight.
The 15mm thru axle achieves even higher rigidity compared to the variant with quick release.
The bearing of the hub is effected by a maintainable and adjustable, double cone bearing with balls made of stainless steel.
In connection with the sealing by rubber seals, an excellent service life of the hub is achieved.
