The Deore M6100 rear derailleur ensures fast and quiet shifting in all shift positions. The construction was taken from the XT and XTR rear derailleurs and is specially tailored to the Shimano 10-51 teeth wide-range cassettes. The jockey wheels are placed in such a way that they keep the chain at the optimum distance from the cassette in all gears. With 13 teeth, they not only offer the chain better guidance, but also ensure smoother and more energy-saving running. In addition, the Shadow+ system avoids annoying chain slapping on rough surfaces. For lower operating forces, the rear derailleur tension in the lower gears has been reduced compared to the previous version. To get the best performance, Shimano recommends using this rear derailleur only with 1x 12-speed drives.
Note: This rear derailleur is only approved by the manufacturer for 1x 12-speed drives and cassettes with 10-51 teeth!
