The Addict RC Ultimate HMX SL frame comes into the 2023 model year in a subtle design. It still has a number of features that make it the ultimate racing weapon. There's the HMX SL carbon fibers, the aerodynamic shape and the stiff fork.
The HMX SL carbon fibers in particular contribute to the low weight and high rigidity. These are approx. 8.5% lighter than normal HMX threads. Manufactured exclusively for Scott, they go through a longer production process and also gain greater strength. In addition, fibers impregnated with nano resin are installed in particularly stressed and critical areas. This ensures greater rigidity, undisturbed propulsion and better protects your frame from serious damage in the event of a fall.
The aerodynamics have also been improved, after all you don't just ride uphill. The streamlined shape starts with the fork and is consistently continued through to the aero seat post. Nothing should be unnecessarily exposed to the wind and impair your propulsion. The brakes are mounted close to the frame to prevent unnecessary whirl. The spacers on the headset allow the air to slide past undisturbed and the seat post clamp is integrated almost invisibly. Everything seems well thought out.
The clean look is achieved by the ICCR cable routing, where all cables and lines run through the frame. All conceivable constellations were considered. You can install both mechanical and electronic groupsets. The cables are neatly routed through inserts in the frame, where they are well protected from dirt and rain.
The set already includes a Scott Addict fork, a Syncros Carbon Duncan SL Aero seat post and an integrated headset. Everything has been color-matched to the frame, resulting in a unified look that's guaranteed to make you the envy of everyone.
